Description
The Flex-a-fit heating hose features a single-layer, neoprene-coated glass fabric with an internal spring steel wire, making it lightweight, highly flexible, kink-resistant, and extremely compressible. It withstands temperatures from -35°C to +135°C (up to +150°C temporarily).
With a 51 mm diameter, it serves as a heating hose for Type-1 engines (1963-) between the fan shroud and heat exchanger, and from 1970 onward, between the air filter and pre-heater pipe. Supplied in a 1000 mm length, it must be cut to size, with one length sufficient for a single engine.
