This electronic ignition module is design to fit the popular 0-231-170-034 style of distributor. The ease of electronic ignition for your Beetle, Ghia or Bus with a type-1 style engine . Our module requires a Bosch blue coil or equivalent replacement. This distributor it needs 3 ohms of internal resistance to work properly.
DO NOT HOOK IT UP BACKWARDS, THE IGNITION CONTROL MODULE WILL BE DAMAGED IMMEDIATELY AND VOID THE WARRANTY!
