The axle tube flange is a key component of the swing axle on the VW Beetle, Karman Ghia, Bus 67, Type 3, and Porsche 356. It ensures a reliable seal and precise bearing control on the axle tube.
New as well as undamaged used original parts are now hard to find. Our solution: a high-quality, modern replacement with an improved design.
Manufactured from high-strength aluminum on our CNC machines in Germany, it is significantly sturdier than the stock version and additionally reinforces the side cover of the transmission. The original stud bolts on the transmission cover can still be used, as the nuts are neatly countersunk into their sockets. The one-piece design significantly reduces the risk of leaks.
Thanks to carefully optimized material selection, the cover is extremely sturdy yet lightweight. Lightening pockets ensure weight savings without compromising strength. A precisely machined mounting radius ensures perfect guidance of the axle tube. This allows for much better adjustment of axial play than with an often warped original cover. The hard anodizing finish reduces wear and provides reliable protection against corrosion.
Not only an ideal replacement for stock vehicles, but also ideally suited for high-performance setups and use in motorsports.
