These genuine TMI slip-on seat upholstery kits are designed for very easy installation. They simply pull over your old - existing upholstery and – SNAPPO - your Beetle has a new and refreshing interior face lift. Each kit recovers both front and rear seats. With installation - we recommend you use a razor knife to carefully remove the beading from your old seat cover before installing ( otherwise this can leave a crease showing) . Also - you may find it necessary to soften up the new vinyl covers to help make it easier to slip them over your old seats - this can be done by putting the new covers into a drying machine for a few minutes until they are warmed up and pliable. Lastly - although these cover are of the highest quality - because they are designed to fit over your old covers and are fastened by Velcro - the final results my look a little baggy - For the very best results we recommend they you use our Hog ring original style replacement seat cover sets. They are harder to install but if you want an original restored quality job - the Hog ring kits are the BEST way to go.
