This ball joint has been specially designed to be used when the vehicle has been lowered. Stock ball joints will bind when used on a lowered front suspension which will cause a very stiff ride and can also lead to ball joint damage. Don't let this happen to you!
SPECIAL NOTE: We have had some reports of these ball joints being tight fitting. This is usually due to excessive corrosion on the old control arm. Please spend some time cleaning any rust and metal burs which may create a clearance problem. For best results use a high speed dremel tool with a sand paper flapper wheel to prep the control arm. It may also be necessary to flapper wheel (sand) the ball joint splines a small amount on the leading edge too help get the ball joint started into the control arm.
